Christmas Gift Ideas - New Jewelry from Shadow Dog Designs
Thanksgiving is almost here and Christmas is not far behind. To help with your holiday gift giving, I decided to showcase seven of my new necklaces and pairs of earrings along with three Christmas / winter earrings. Each design here is one of a kind, except for the Christmas earrings. Some designs are more boho flavored and some are more classic. It’s hard to believe that’s it’s been almost a month since I shared my new handmade earrings and necklaces with you. I have been traveling quite a bit, to Dallas and to Kerrville, in the Texas Hill Country (a favorite place). Even with that, many new, one of a kind pieces of jewelry have been posted in my Indiemade shop. Can't believe it has been three weeks since my last post sharing new Shadow Dog Designs handmade jewelry with you. I have been traveling quite a bit: five days in San Francisco, a Justin Hayward concert in Austin and several days in Dallas getting our townhome somewhat in order. More traveling will be done to Dallas, a city I'm not overly fond of. But life sometimes takes strange turns.
Captivating Czech Glass - A Short History
Czech glass is so much fun to use in handmade jewelry designs due to the extremely large choice of shapes, sizes, colors and finishes. I have to admit . . . I have become addicted to the beauties. I enjoy using Czech glass mainly for earrings, but many people use the glass beads for necklaces, bracelets and many other projects. Czech glass has a long, rich history which I find extremely fascinating. I thought I would share a short history of Czech glass and some handmade jewelry designs from artists using Czech glass as a main design component.
Unique New Handmade Jewelry Designs by Shadow Dog Designs
Another two weeks have come and gone since my last new handmade jewelry post in my Shadow Dog Designs shop. Between photographing, photo editing and listing new jewelry, I have also been getting ready for the Kermezaar Arts Festival that takes place this Saturday and Sunday. It is a juried show for strictly handmade items and is taking place at the El Paso International Museum. My first time! Am excited to have been accepted!

Lots of new handmade jewelry designs went into my Shadow Dog Designs Indiemade shop the last two weeks. I have been busy, busy, busy creating new necklaces and earrings. Arts Festivals are coming up so the shop needs to be well stocked because the shows will (hopefully) draw from the design that are there and the ones that will not be listed. Shadow Dog Designs - New Handmade Jewelry
It has been another busy week creating, photographing and listing new handmade jewelry here at Shadow Dog Designs, new earrings and necklaces. I have been playing with color, some feature more earthy color combinations and some are more in your face boho colors which seem to scream "spring and summer will be here!" It seems the new jewelry listed have more of an eclectic, boho vibe. Loving where the Muses have been taking me! New Handmade Jewelry at Shadow Dog Designs
January has been a very busy time creating new jewelry, photographing and listing those pieces in my Indiemade shop. Valentine's Day is quickly approaching with the resulting hearts and love, pink and red jewelry flooding the markets - which I have also done. Although quite a few heart pieces have already sold so you won't find many heart related items in this post. The pieces being shared are favorites, however, since they have more of a boho Valentine's flair, making the jewelry able to be worn all year long. Traditional Valentine's Day designs or not, any of these one of a kind handmade necklaces or earrings will make exquisite gifts for a loved one.
