Queen of Peace Holiday Bazaar - November 8 and 9

Coming up soon, November 8 and 9, is the Queen of Peace Holiday Bazaar held at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church's Parish Hall.  Always well attended, the Holiday Bazaar is the perfect place to start and / or finish your Christmas shopping.  So much to do and see:  arts, crafts, food, raffles, Grandma's Attic, food, beverages, St. Nicholas and much more.  There is even a "Show and Shine" car show on Saturday only, 10-3!  If you are in the area, please stop by and say "Hi!"  Who knows, you just might find that perfect Christmas gift for a loved one (or yourself!) at one of the vendors!

Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts - Holy Cross Retreat Center

If you are interested in spending a fun day at a wonderful arts show, the FRANCISCAN FESTIVAL OF FINE ARTS is being held this weekend, September 4 and 5, at Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, NM.  A wide variety of juried art will be avainable to browse and to buy (make an artist's day!).  Music, food and drink will also be available.  As you can see from the photos below (all courtesy of Father Tom), there is a wide range of art and activities.  I'll be there with my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS handmade jewelry booth.  Stop by and say "Hi!"
