The summer heat has settled on the land here in the Desert Southwest with lots of sun and a big blue sky with rarely any clouds. That means there is more creative time in my jewelry studio as opposed to creative time outside in the flower beds. So I wanted to share with you eleven of my newest creations, four necklaces and seven pairs of earrings, found in my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS jewelry shop The handmade necklaces and earrings are one of a kind designs and will make unique gifts for a loved one . . . or, of course, yourself! It has been a very long while since I last showcased some of the newest jewelry in my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS shop. Where does the time go??? Tick . . . tick . . . tick . . . tick . . . tick. According to the Your Christmas Countdown Clock there is only 11 days until Christmas is here! It’s hard to believe that almost two weeks have already gone by here in December, and, with it, the last week of the Countdown to Christmas 2023. The Countdown has been graciously hosted all these 12 weeks (and many years) by Julie and Harry of Blue Morning Expressions on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog. Yes, Week 12 has come and gone and 30 artisan handmade / desogned items from ten artists were left in its wake. Any of the beauties will be perfect for a Christmas gift, one that was carefully created from the heart. Support independent artists by helping Santa make it a HANDMADE CHRISTMAS this year!

It's hard to believe that Week 11 of the Countdown to Christmas 2023 has already come and gone . . . . and there is only ONE more week left of the promotion! When the Countdown starts, the end of the twelve weeks seems a looooong way off. Then - BAM! - here it is! With Christmas just 18 days away, where does the time go? Since the heat wave that set in about a week ago has not let up, I find it too hot to go outside and photograph new jewelry (which I normally do around noonish). Photographing is something I really need to do, but I'll wait until it cools down a bit. So I decided to pull together a blog that features the eleven newest jewelry designs in my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS jewelry shop, three new necklace and eight pairs of earrings. Each piece was designed and handmade by me and they are all one of a kind designs. It is so hard to believe (at least to me - how about you?) that this is the first day of November . . . . and that we have only 5 more weeks of the Countdown to Christmas 2022! It’s also hard to believe that Christmas will be here before we know it. According to the ever ticking Christmas clock, there are only 53 days until jolly Santa Claus drops down that chimney and either leaves wonderful gifts or lumps of coal for deserving or not-so-deserving boys and girls. Since Christmas is less than two months away, now is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping. And the Countdown is the perfect place! Remember this motto: SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN! Where did Week 4 of the Countdown to Christmas go? Or for that matter, weeks 1-3??? All four weeks have quickly sped right on by - we’re now ⅓ of the way through the Countdown! . According to the ever ticking Christmas clock there is only 74 days until Christmas is here again! Since the holiday gift giving season is quickly approaching, Julie of Blue Morning Expressions along with her handsome sidekick, Harry, are hosting a twelve-week Countdown to Christmas 2022 of artisan handmade items on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog in their Shopify shop. The twelve week time period was chosen to correspond with the ubiquitous Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas''.
