Make It an Artisan Handmade Christmas - Week 12 Favorites - 2025

Tick . . . tick . . . tick . . . tick . . . tick.   According to the Your Christmas Countdown Clock  there is only 22 days until Christmas is here!  It’s hard to believe that 12 weeks have already gone by since the Countdown to Christmas 2025 started.  The Countdown has been graciously hosted all these weeks (and many years) by Julie and Harry of Blue Morning Expressions (shop on vacation now but will be open soon) on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog. Yes, Week 12 of the Coundown to Christmas has come and gone and 24 artisan handmade / designed items from eight artists were left in its wake.  Any of the beauties will be perfect for a Christmas gift, one that was carefully created from the heart.  Support independent artists by helping Santa make it a HANDMADE CHRISTMAS this year!

Summer Fun - Artisan Handmade Gifts

The first day of summer will be here before we know it.  This year, the first day of summer starts here in the Borderlands at 9:54 a.m. MDT on Friday, June 21.  Although, by that time, we’ll surely have had several days near triple digits or some 100+ degrees. But it’s a dry heat and doesn’t keep me from doing much outside as long as I have a wide brimmed hat on my head and plenty of water with me.

It’s hard to believe that’s it’s been almost a month since I shared my new handmade earrings and necklaces with you.  I have been traveling quite a bit, to Dallas and to Kerrville, in the Texas Hill Country (a favorite place).  Even with that, many new, one of a kind pieces of jewelry have been posted in my Indiemade shop.  They feature a wide range of materials, from gemstones to Czech glass, and a wide range of styles, from classic to boho.
