Make It an Artisan Handmade Christmas - Week 9 Favorites - 2025

Warning! Warning!!! Christmas is quickly barreling down on us! It's hard to believe it will be here soon. And the ever ticking Your Christmas Counrdown Clock let up: according to the clock, there are only 42 day (as of today) before Santa and his traveling reindeer buddies start their journey. And, also hard to believe is that week 9 of the Countdown to Christmas 2025 has come and gone. The Countdown is where artists come together to share three of their unique (often one of a kind) creations and then promote each other. This week, eleven artists shared a total of 33 unique items. The twelve week Countdown to Christmas, hosted by Julie and Harry of Blue Morning Expressions on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog, is the perfect place to start / end your holiday shopping. Find those special gifts for loved ones on the Countdown! An excellent motto to follow this holiday season is : SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN! It’s hard to believe that we’re already half-way finished with the twelve week Countdown to Christmas 2025! That means Christmas is bearing down on us and will soon be here. Yikes!!!! According to the ever ticking Your Christmas Countdown Clock, there are only 64 days (as of today) until Santa and his merry herd of flying reindeer arrive once again. Who would have believed how quickly Week 4 of the Countdown to Christmas 2024 went by . . . but here we are! Left in its wake is a wide variety of wonderful artisan handmade / designed items. According to the ever ticking Your Christmas Countdown Clock, there are only 70 days until St. Nick pays a visit to let you know of you have been naughty or nice. With the rapidly approaching gift giving season, Julie and her faithful sidekick, Handsome Harry, are hosting a twelve-week Countdown to Christmas 2024 of artisan handmade items on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog, part of their Blue Morning Expressions Shopify shop. That means there is more creative time in my jewelry studio as opposed to creative time outside in the flower beds. Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it. When you walk into most stores shortly after Christmas (or sometimes before!), hearts, cupids and other items in pink and red will assail you from every direction. Flowers, candy and gifts are exchanged between loved ones throughout the United States and in many other countries around the world . . . all in the name of St. Valentine. Although the exact history of St. Valentine is shrouded in mystery, February has long been celebrated as a month of romance. Valentine’s Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both ancient Roman and Christian traditions, with other traditions thrown in for good measure.

Where did Week 4 of the Countdown to Christmas go? Or for that matter, weeks 1-3??? All four weeks have quickly sped right on by - we’re now ⅓ of the way through the Countdown! . According to the ever ticking Christmas clock there is only 74 days until Christmas is here again! Since the holiday gift giving season is quickly approaching, Julie of Blue Morning Expressions along with her handsome sidekick, Harry, are hosting a twelve-week Countdown to Christmas 2022 of artisan handmade items on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog in their Shopify shop. The twelve week time period was chosen to correspond with the ubiquitous Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas''.
