It's hard to believe that Week 11 of the Countdown to Christmas 2021 has come and gone . . . . and there is only one more week left! When the Countdown starts, the end of the twelve weeks seems a looooong way off. The - BAM! - here it is! And Christmas is just a bit over three weeks away - 24 days! Where does the time go? The ever ticking Christmas clock doesn’t let up - those seconds just keep ticking down until the jolly man in red and white leaves wonderful gifts or lumps of coal under the tree. Just what is the Countdown? It’s a place for handmade artists to share three of their beautiful (often one of a kind) creations. Need a perfect start (or finish) to your Christmas shopping? Already, week 8 of the Countdown to Christmas 2021 has come on gone! It’s hard to believe that there are only four more weeks left! The Countdown is a chance for mostly handmade artists to share three of their beautiful gift ideas and for all to browse and, hopefully, purchase. The ever ticking Christmas clock doesn’t let up - according to it, Santa will start his journey in only 45 days! Need a perfect start to your Christmas shopping? It is so hard to believe (at least to me) that November has already shown up and that we have only 5 more weeks of the Countdown to Christmas 2021! It’s also hard to imagine that Christmas will soon be here. According to the ever ticking Christmas clock, there are only 52 days, less than 2 months until jolly Santa Claus drops down that chimney and either leaves gifts or lumps of coal for deserving or not-so-deserving boys and girls. Since Christmas is looming, now is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping and the Countdown is the perfect place! Remember this motto: SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN! And, most of all, please BUY HANDMADE from small indie business owners!
New Jewelry Handmade by Shadow Dog Designs

This month, I want to share eleven new pieces of jewelry with you, seven pairs of earrings and four necklaces. All are one of a kind pieces and all are designed and handmade by me, Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs. I've somewhat grouped them according to theme, starting off with Halloween and Day of the Dead earrings, since those celebrations will soon be very here. Then a pair of Christmas tree earrings (the holidays will be here sooner than we think!). The last seven range anywhere between sweet and petite and fun and funky. Eleven New Necklaces and Earrings Handmade by Shadow Dog Designs

It has been quite a while since I shared new jewelry designs found in my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS shop. It seems the days . . . and the weeks . . . . and the months just speed right on by. I've been spending a LOT of time outside working in flower beds and just sitting and enjoying all the birds and other animals that come to the back yard. And watching Seamus be his goofy dog self. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous so the pull to be outside is greater than the pull to be in front of the computer. Today I'm sharing eleven new designs in my shop, all one of a kind jewelry. As you can see there is a wide range of desgins: some simple and some more comlicated, some small and some big and bold. And there are several new animal rescue designs which, when sold, one-half of the purchase price goes to an animal recue organization. I hope you enjoy these pieces. A Lot of Boho, a LOT of Fun - Artisan Handmade Three for Thursday

The term “boho” gets thrown around a lot these days, but what exactly does the word actually mean? Short for “bohemian,” boho as a style is most closely associated with the free spirits and hippies of the ‘60s and ‘70s - but also the pre-Raphaelite women of the late 19th century. It embraces the carefree, the relaxed, and the unique. But, truth be told, it borrows from the fashions of many cultures and time periods through the ages that almost anything can be "boho" if it’s styled right.
With that in mind, I decided this week’s Three for Thursday would embrace boho,” specifically with fun, unique necklaces. Featured in the A LOT of Boho, a LOT Of Fun are three necklaces from three handmade three artists.
