Christmas is barreling down on us - it will soon be here!  Week 9 of the Countdown to Christmas 2020 has come and gone.  The ever ticking Christmas clock doesn’t let up - according to what it says today, Santa will start his journey in only 37 days, just barely a month from now!  The Countdown is a place for handmade artists to share three of their beautiful (often one of a kind) creations. Need a perfect start to your Christmas shopping?  Shop the Countdown to Christmas: browse and purchase that special piece!  An excellent motto to follow this holiday season: SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN!  And, most of all, SHOP HANDMADE!

Since the holiday gift giving season will be here before you know it, Julie and Harry of Blue Morning Expressions are once again hosting a twelve-week Countdown to Christmas 2020 of artisan handmade items on their The Blu Print blog.  The twelve week time period was chosen to correspond with the ubiquitous Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas."  The selection for this week is by John Denver and the Muppets:  "The Twelve Days of Chistmas" - a classic version.  This week 10 artists shared 30 items, a wide range of beautiful handmade gift ideas:  jewelry of all styles incuding bracelet and earrings; hand crocheted baby gifts, hand knit scarves, lampwork glass beads, ear warmers, snowman jewelry and other beauties that will make excellent gifts even for the hardest to please auntie..

Shop owners on Indiemade, Shopify, ArtFire, Fine Art America, Etsy, a stand alone website and the like are welcome to share up to three gift items between Friday at 12:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) and Monday morning at 12:01 a.m.  A new Countdown collection of gift items will begin again the next Friday. This will continue until the second week in December. The items shared need to be G-rated.

If you share items on the Countdown to Christmas, you ***MUST*** promote the collection and ***EACH*** item on at least one social network site, preferably Pinterest and/or Twitter where the items can be easily seen and then promoted again.  It's only fair to promote each of the participants who have promoted you!
