Wow!  Christmas will be here in only 31 days! And there are only two more weeks left in the Countdown to Christmas 2022!  Time just flies by, quicker and quicker each and every year.  The ever ticking Christmas clock doesn’t let up and keeps ticking down those seconds until Santa and his herd of flying reindeer make a nighttime visit to leave wonderful gifts or lumps of coal. The Countdown is the place for handmade artists to share three of their beautiful (often one of a kind) creations. Need a perfect start to your Christmas shopping?  Shop the Countdown to Christmas: browse and purchase that special piece for that special person!  An excellent rule of thumb to follow this holiday season: SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN! And, most of all, SHOP HANDMADE to support small, independent artisan shops!

The holiday gift giving season is lurking just around that next corner!  Because of this, Julie and Harry of Blue Morning Expressions are once again hosting a twelve-week Countdown to Christmas 2022 of artisan handmade items on their Buy Handmade from Makers blog.  The twelve week time period was chosen to correspond with the never-ending Christmas carol, "The Twelve Days of Christmas."  This week eleven artists shared 33 items, a wide range of beautiful handmade gift ideas:  jewelry of all styles including necklaces and earrings, cute baby-onepiece, lampwork flower beads, manatee note cards, Christmas stickers, black swan art print, collectible Christmas thimble, Hanukkah wine charms and dog rescue earrings.  Many of these will make excellent gifts for even the hardest to please person on your list.
