Red, Green and White For Christmas! - Three for Thursday - December 3, 2020

According to the ever ticking Christmas clock, there’s only 21 days until Christmas arrives.  If you haven’t already started your holiday shopping, now’s definitely the time!  To help you select gifts, I pulled together three handmade beauties from three artists in the christmas colors of red, green and white.  These are gifts that are guaranteed to please.  The handmade artists are:  Linda of VictorianStyleTreasures;  Charlotte of Covergirlbeads; and me, Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.  I hope you enjoy these selections and will visit the artists’ shops for more gift ideas.  There will be something there for even the hardest to buy for Mom or aunt!  Remember:  SHOP SMALL and BUY HANDMADE!!!

Make It a Handmade Christmas 2020 - Week 8

Already, week 8 of the Countdown to Christmas 2020 has come on gone!  It’s hard to believe that there are only four more weeks left! The Countdown is a chance for mostly handmade artists to share three of their beautiful gift ideas and for all to browse and, hopefully, purchase.  The ever ticking Christmas clock doesn’t let up - according to it, Santa will start his journey in only 44 days!  Need a perfect start to your Christmas shopping? The Countdown is the place to do just that!  A good motto to follow: SHOP EARLY, SHOP OFTEN!  And, most of all, SHOP HANDMADE!

Christmas in July - Artisan Handmade - Three for Thursday

All this month, merchants celebrate “Christmas in July.”  Believe it or not, the real Christmas will be here before we know it - yikes!  To celebrate Christmas in July, I decided to share items from three handmade artists that either have holiday items on sale or are offering free shipping.  The items range from sweet baby clothing, to unique ornaments, to fun Christmas art, and to sparkling holiday jewelry. The Christmas shopping season will soon be here (if you haven’t already begun your list making and your shopping!).  I’ve been working hard to list new pairs of earrings and necklaces in my Shadow Dog Designs handmade jewelry shop and wanted to share the new creations with you.  Each piece is a perfect gift for the discerning woman who enjoys wearing truly unique artisan handmade jewelry. Unique New Handmade Jewelry from Shadow Dog Designs

The past several weeks have been very busy with a huge (and very profitable) show on Labor Day weekend and then a week long trip to beautiful Couer d'Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington.  But unique new handmade jewelry, mostly necklaces and earrings, have been listed in my Indiemade shop.  All of the jewelry is one of a kind, except the very last pair of earrings, the snowmen earrings.  Even though I make them in several different colored collars, the red ones are the most popular.
