Franciscan Festival of Fine Arts - Labor Day Weekend 2026

The always well attended FRANCISCAN FESTIVAL OF FINE ARTS is coming up soon:  Labor Day weekend, September 5 and 6, 2026, at Holy Cross Retreat Center in Mesilla Park, NM.   If you love spending a fun day at a superb arts show, this is the festival for you!  Since 80-100 artists normally participate, there is a wide variety of juried art - paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, crosses, clothing / handbags, metal work, quilts, woodwork, leatherwork and much more - will be available to browse and to buy (make an artist's day!).  Everything for sale has to be made by the artist selling it - no mass produced items are allowed.  Music, tasty food (including watering enchiladas and paella), drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic), a silent auction and a raffle are also part of the fun.  As always, I'll be there selling my SHADOW DOG DESIGNS handmade jewelry, outside under a beautiful pine tree in my normal spot, space C-2.  It will be wonderful to see / chat with returning customers and new shoppers!  Be sure to stop by and say "Hi!"

When:

Saturday, September 5:  9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 6:  10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

To the left of the photo is part of my booth many years ago at the Franciscan Festival - part of my "Shadow Dog Designs" banner can be seen along with some jewelry.

I certainly hope you make it to the Franciscan Festival - you'll be glad you did!
