ON THE SERENGETI is a gloriously earthy-colored, handmade, one of a kind necklace made with graduated yellow turquoise jasper drums, yellow turquoise jasper rondelles and sterling silver. It is definitely a chunky, statement piece! When I first saw this strand of yellow turquoise jasper, I immediately thought of the scene in "Out of Africa" where Karen Blixen and Denys Finch Hatten fly over the savannah and mottled greens and tans are seen with streams of animals. Now you can see why I named this necklace ON THE SERENGETI! Each graduated yellow turquoise jasper drum is colored and patterned differently. Yellow turquoise jasper rondelles are separated from the drums with sterling silver daisy spacers and 2mm sterling silver beads. The ON THE SERENGETI necklace is finished with a gorgeous sterling silver toggle clasp.
