NEW SPRING GROWTH - Chunky Green Chalcedony Nuggets Sterling Handmade Necklace

NEW SPRING GROWTH is a glorious handmade, one of a kind necklace made with faceted pale green chalcedony graduated nuggets and sterling silver. When the pale green chalcedony is in good light, the stones positively glow - such a luscious color! I wish the photos could show that - this necklace was very hard to photograph. The chalcedony is soft faceted which causes the stones to catch the light even more. The stones are slightly graduated in size (see below). There are a few small inclusions, but nothing that will distract from the beauty of the stones. I wanted the stones to stand on their own so just separated the stones with sterling silver 3mm beads. To finish the NEW SPRING GROWTH necklace beautifully, a 2" sterling silver hammered extender chain was attached at one end and a gorgeous sterling silver hook clasp at the other end. A new jade gemstone dangle was wire-wrapped onto the end of the extender chain.
