What beautiful spring colors are contained in this handmade, one of a kind, button pearl, silk and sterling silver necklace, named FLOWER SONGS OF THE MEADOW! The pearls are called button pearls, meaning they are flat on one side and rounded on the opposite side. This gives the necklace such a wonderful texture. Now I'll be the first to admit that these pearls are not exactly the same in size or shape. Some are a little bigger, some have folds, some are more rounded. But I LOVE that! To me "perfect" can be boring. These beautiful button pearls are anything but boring as you look from one to the other. And their luster is absolutely superb. The button pearls are individually hand knotted with forest green silk cord, the traditional knotting medium for pearl necklaces. Sterling silver clams connect the pearls to a gorgeous, square-shaped sterling silver toggle clasp for a wonderful finish.
