Created with a two-sided pewter pendant with three horses as part of a Celtic knot, the one of a kind necklace also features two types of gemstones, rainforest jasper and red garnet, and sterling silver. The history of Celtic knots could date back as far as 500 B.C. Celtic knots are complete loops that have no start or finish and represent eternity through loyalty, faith, friendship and / or love. The two-sided pendant is made from high quality lead free pewter with an intricate Celtic design interwoven with three horses, the same design on both sides. Just look at the incredible detailing on the pendant. Hard to photograph since it reflected my shirt, the camera, the sky, etc, rest assured that the horse pendant has a rich antique silver gleam that is extremely eye-catching (please see photo #3). Beautiful gemstones perfectly complement the Celtic knot horse pendant. The first is rainforest jasper in earthy browns, tans and greens. The shape is a somewhat flattened tube that highlights the swirling colors of the gemstones. As you can see, each piece of jasper has its own personality as far as colors and patterns go. Between each is a deep red garnet round, separated with small sterling silver beads. The garnet is translucent, so when the necklace is worn in good light, they glow. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasp set finishes the gorgeous necklace.
