Filled with colorful floral goodness and an inspirational message, the CHOOSE JOY handmade necklace is perfect for a woman who loves unique, one of a kind affirmation jewelry. Created with an artisan made heart shaped ceramic pendant, two types of amethyst and sterling silver. The rustic style pendant was hand formed from ceramic clay into a heart with colorful flowers around the edge and “Choose Joy” inscribed in the center. The pendant has a base of pale beige which brings out the vibrant colors of the flowers: purples, lavenders, oranges, reds and yellows. The “Choose Joy” is highlighted with dark brown to bring out the message loud and clear. The floral heart pendant was kiln fired at high temperature to add strength and durability. However, if struck on a hard surface, the pendant could chip, crack or break. As an added bonus, the back of the pendant also has a unique design and was left unglazed to act as an essential oil diffuser - just add a few drops of your favorite essential oil and the porous ceramic will hold the aroma for several days. A pendant bail created from various sizes of sterling silver jump rings and closed rings secures the heart to the main body of the necklace.

To perfectly complement the joyful pendant and to bring out the purple and lavenders of the flowers, two types and sizes of amethyst rounds were used. The larger gemstones are purple amethyst ranging from a rich dark purple to a medium purple, some with both shades in one round. The smaller gemstones are the more rare lavender amethyst which are mainly lighter in color than the purple amethyst. Sterling silver beads are liberally sprinkled throughout the necklace design adding beautiful glow. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasp set securely finishes the necklace.
