The smile inducing JUMP FOR JOY one of a kind pendant necklace certainly celebrates the refreshing renewal of spring. A perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift, the somewhat asymmetrical handmade necklace features a glorious, artisan made fine silver pendant with a whimsical rabbit and flower design, two types and colors of glowing freshwater pearls and sparkling Swarovski crystals. The pendant was artisan created from fine silver (a silver that is more pure than the more common sterling silver). The pendant features a rabbit jumping for joy and flowers - a celebration of spring. The pendant was given a patina and then polished to bring out the lovely detail. The back of the pendant has a hammered look to it from the design on the front. The back also features the artist’s “Hint” stamp with a leaf. The rabbit pendant was carefully wire wrapped on sterling wire to connect to the main body of the necklace. A 6 mm “khaki” Swarovski crystal was added to provide extra spring sparkle.

The main body of the necklace features an asymmetrical design created with two types and colors of freshwater pearls. Glowing white pearls in an oblong shape make up most of the necklace. Each of the pearls are separated by 2 mm sterling silver beads. To add even more of a spring feel to the necklace design, light grass green coin pearls with a lustrous sheen are scattered through the necklace, four on one side and three on the other. Sterling daisy spacers and sparkling 4 mm “khaki” Swarovski crystals flank each side of the coin pearls. Photos #2 and #3 above show the entire necklace so you can see the distribution of the pearls. Even though the necklace design is asymmetrical, it has a very balanced look. A sterling silver toggle clasp with a twisted design gives the necklace an elegant finish.
