The DREAMING OF BELIZE necklace is a gorgeous, one of a kind handmade piece of jewelry created with a bronze leaf pendant, rhyolite ovals, lustrous green pearls and copper. The bronze leaf pendant was hand-crafted from precious metal bronze clay. The veination detail on the leaf is exquisite and it has a beautiful, matte finish. Rich, woodsy colors glow as the light catches it at different angles. Three pearls have been wire-wrapped to the asymmetrical holes using hand-hammered spiral headpins created by me. The pendant connects to mossy green freshwater pearls, stunning rhyolite ovals which remind me of the colors of a rainforest and copper daisy spacers and 2mm copper beads. The front part of DREAMING OF BELIZE has been beaded on 49-strand jeweler's wire. The rhyolite, pearls, closed copper rings, copper daisy spacers & 2mm copper beads in the last 2/3 of the necklace are wire-wrapped with copper wire, giving the necklace a light, breezy look. A copper s-clasp finishes the necklace beautifully. The DREAMING OF BELIZE necklace was carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
