The patron saint of animals and the environment, St. Francis Assisi is probably one of the most venerated and beloved Catholic saints. A perfect gift for the woman of Catholic faith or who admires the peaceful saint, the stunning YOUR PEACE handmade necklace was created with a two-sided bronze pendant, black jasper gemstones and Swarovski crystals. The unique pendant was artisan created and hand cast in gold bronze: St. Francis with doves of peace and a tree are on one side and St. Clare of Assisi holding a bouquet of lilies (a symbol of humility and devotion) is on the reverse side. Both images are raised against the background for wonderful texture and given a light patina to bring out the incredible details. The pendant is very rich in color and is polished to a high shine. A heavy duty copper jump ring securely fastens the St, Francis pendant to the main body of the necklace.

To perfectly highlight the St. Francis / St. Clare pendant, hand cut black jasper gemstone tubes and sparkling Swarovski crystals were used. Black jasper (also known as blackstone) is a fairly rare form of quartz that often has small specks of white - a few of the tubes in the necklace have a bit of white. The highly polished jasper tubes are graduated in length with the longer ones in front and the shorter at the back. A copper bead separates each tube, adding wonderful glow. To provide great sparkle, six faceted Swarovski crystal bicones were used, three on each side. The color is called “rose gold,” a gorgeous effect very similar in color to 18-karat rose gold. Small copper beads separate the crystals from the gemstones. A patinated copper toggle clasp finishes the beautiful necklace.
