The LET ME SOW LOVE handmade necklace is perfect for any woman who has a deep, abiding love for animals or the environment and is a Catholic . . . or all three! The meaningful religious necklace features a rustic St. Francis and friends round pewter pendant. Highlighting the pendant are glowing dark brown freshwater peacock pearls, pink rhodochrosite gemstones and sterling silver. The enchanting St. Francis pendant was cast in the U.S. from lead free pewter and has the glow of fine, old silver. As you can see from the photos, the pendant has a wonderfully rustic look to it with raised detailing. In the center of the pendant, St. Francis is standing with one hand raised and one hand on the head of the wolf of Gubbio, blessing the animal. Above the wolf’s head is a sun symbol. Behind St. Francis are two flying birds, doves of peace. Around the upper edge of the pendant, the words “St. Francis of Assisi” is written. The back of the pendant is smooth. A heavy duty sterling silver jump ring connects the pendant to the main body of the necklace.

To perfectly complement the St. Francis and wolf pendant, dark brown peacock pearls and rhodochrosite gemstone discs were used. The roundish pearls are absolutely gorgeous with their dark brown color and peacock glow in shimmering colors of purple, blues and burgundies, changing as the angle of the light changes. The pearls are in alternating groups of three and one. Adding exquisite contrast, between each group of pearls are pink rhodochrosite discs separated by small sterling silver beads. A sleek sterling silver toggle clasp set finishes the sublime necklace.
