Are you looking for a pair of stylish, handmade owl earrings that are . . . well . . . a real hoot? Owl jewelry is very trendy right now so you will be ahead of the curve wearing these artisan earrings. The SWEET HOOTIES earrings feature two-sided Czech glass owls and black onyx gemstones for a fun pair of one of a kind earrings. The Czech owl beads were created with a base of rich cream glass. They were then coated with a black Picasso finish that settled in the recessed areas to bring out the amazing details of the hootie owls and to give them a lovely rustic appeal. Just look at the exquisite detailing of the owl beads! And, since the beads are two sided, the earrings will look fabulous no matter which way they hang.

The cream and black owl beads were capped with a lead free pewter daisy spacer. On top of each daisy spacer was placed black onyx discs. The coal black onyx discs have a high shine so they reflect light beautifully. A single lead free pewter disc and a 2 mm sterling silver bead were placed on the gemstone discs. Everything was carefully wire wrapped on a sterling silver headpin and connected to sterling French hooks earwires. Carefully designed and created by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the SWEET HOOTIES earrings were specifically made for the woman who loves to wear fun, handmade jewelry.
