STARS AT MIDNIGHT - White Pearls Black Onyx Handmade Earrings, Sterling OOAK Beaded Jewelry

Black and white - such a classic combination for jewelry! And what could be more perfect than a pair of handmade white freshwater pearls, black onyx rondelles and sterling silver earrings? The luster of the white, freshwater pearls used in STARS AT MIDNIGHT is magnificent - it almost seems that they glow on their on! The luster is so high that you can actually see my reflection in the pearls (the black blob at the bottom of most of the pearls!). The pearls are an oblong round shape and a larger size than the "normal" pearl. The pearls have been framed by sterling silver daisy spacers on the top and bottom in addition to a 2mm sterling silver bead at the bottom. The black onyx rondelles are a perfect counterpoint to the whiteness of the pearls. The rondelles have been faceted to give incredible sparkle to the stones/earrings. Luster and sparkles - like stars in a midnight sky! Two black onyx rondelles were used for each earring and are separated from each other and the pearls by sterling silver daisy spacers. The body of each earring was carefully wire-wrapped to sterling silver earwires on handmade (by me) sterling silver headpins with a hand hammered loop at the end. These beautiful STARS AT MIDNIGHT one of a kind (OOAK) beaded earrings were handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
