Jewelry that is definitely unique and a whole lot of fun, the one of a kind SKELETON ANGELS handmade earrings will definitely dress up your wardrobe for Halloween and Day of the Dead festivities! Also easily worn all year long, the unique earrings feature two-sided ceramic winged skeleton angel charms, copper and sterling silver. The whimsical ceramic skeleton angels were individually artisan made and hand painted in Peru, so they are very similar but not exactly the same. Each skeleton is grinning, holding a red heart at their chests and have dark blue wings, a lime green skirt and are standing on a sky blue pedestal. Of course, the winged skeletons themselves are white with black to bring out the incredible detailing. The back side shows the full set of wings, the skirts and the pedestal (see photo # 8). The ceramic charms were fired in a kiln at high heat for strength and durability - but please be aware that if they are dropped on a hard surface, they could chip or break.
Because the winged skeleton angels are so amazing on their own, the rest of the earrings design was purposefully kept simple. A copper disc spacer and a small copper bead caps the top of each charm, giving the skeletons a jaunty look as if they are wearing hats. A copper disc spacer and small copper bead is also found at the bottom. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents finish the fun beauties.
