The sumptuous color of the faceted dark blue quartz nuggets used in PIECES OF THE NIGHT SKY handmade necklace is breathtakingly beautiful! The flattened quartz nuggets (which are dyed) is a rich, velvety blue color that reminds me of the night sky right before the sky goes dark. Faceting causes the the nuggets to sparkle brilliantly (like stars!) as the necklace is worn. Corrugated sterling silver saucer beads and 2mm sterling silver beads separate the nuggets and give wonderful texture. To finish the PIECES OF THE NIGHT SKY necklace, sterling silver wire protectors connect to a beautiful sterling silver hook clasp set.
