LAST WALTZ OF THE EVENING - Czech Glass Serpentine Copper Necklace, Handmade Shabby Chic

The unique LAST WALTZ OF THE EVENING necklace was created with vintage-looking faceted Czech glass wire-wrapped and accented with copper, lemon serpentine and "jet" Swarovski crystals. The faceted Czech glass has a glorious, shabby chic look to it, like many dances were danced and many stories could be told. Because of the faceting, this necklace has a lot of sparkle. Each side of the Czech glass beads were set off with wavy copper discs and 2mm copper beads. The Czech glass beads and copper discs have been individually wire-wrapped to each other. This front part of LAST WALTZ OF THE EVENING takes up approximately 8" / 20.3 cm. The rest of the necklace was created with lovely lemon serpentine that were interspersed with "jet" Swarovski crystal bicones and 2mm copper beads. The "jet" Swarovski crystals definitely play off the sparkle of the faceted Czech glass, adding much more! To finish the LAST WALTZ OF THE EVENING necklace, a patterned copper s-clasp was used. This one of a kind beauty was handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
