If you know a woman who loves her dogs and is proud to show it, these wonderfully unique handmade earrings are for her! The one of a kind MY FOUR FOOTED FRIEND dog lover earrings feature artisan etched copper dangles and artisan lampwork glass beads. The square-shaped, lightweight dangles are made from pure copper sheeting, hand cut and the sides filed to a silky smoothness. Fun dogs, paw prints, bones and hearts were etched onto the glowing copper and then patinated in black to bring out the amazing details. The copper was then sealed for many years of wearing enjoyment. The copper is very shiny (which made the dangles very hard to photograph without reflections), and a rich copper color that catches the light brilliantly at each movement of the head when worn. The back of the dog dangles are a smooth copper. Since the dangles were individually handmade, they are similar but also different as you can see in the photos.
Perfectly complementing the dog dangles, are artisan made melon shaped lampwork beads with swirled ridges. The translucent glass, which glows beautifully in the light, is a lovely light raspberry red color. Stacked above the lampwork beads are two copper spacers and a smaller ridged copper spacer bead. Sterling silver French hook earwires with copper bead accents beautifully finish the earrings. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the MY FOUR FOOTED FRIEND dog rescue earrings were created for the woman who adores wearing dog themed artisan jewelry that gives back to animal rescue groups.
