Filled with the gorgeous color palette of an Impressionism painting, the one of a kind MONET’S MAGIC handmade earrings are beauties that will surely be noticed each and every time you wear them! Created with artisan lampwork glass beads in shades of aqua, blues and green, they also feature sparkling Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The lampwork beads are a unique puffed square shape, a bit thicker in the middle than at the edges. The beads started out as clear glass. When they were still in their molten stage, glass frit was added in aquas, blues and green to give a dappled, Impressionistic look similar to some of the versions of Monet’s water lily paintings. As you can see, since each bead was individually artisan made, they are similar but also different. The lampwork beads are translucent, glowing beautifully when worn.
To perfectly highlight the colors in the lampwork glass beads, mega-glitter Swarovski crystal faceted bicones were added above and below the squares. They’re a rich blue-green color called “blue zircon shimmer” - the “shimmer” due to an aurora borealis finish applied to part of the beads to add extra eye appeal. The crystals are separated from the lampwork beads by high shine sterling silver spacers in the shape of triangles, adding great texture to the design. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the colorful earrings.
