"Love of Leaves" - Red Copper leaf Earrings, Handmade Sponge Coral Beaded Artisan Jewelry

These beautiful LOVE OF LEAVES handmade earrings were created with copper leaf charms individually crafted by Patricia Healey. A warm red / orange patina was added to the copper, a process that Patricia developed. To protect the rich color, the charms were coated with metal lacquer so that they will last for years without changing color or tarnishing. To perfectly complement the glowing color of the leaves, soft faceted red sponge coral was used. because the coral has soft facets, the pieces do pick up the light, adding much interest to the design. A 2 mm copper bead was added to the top and bottom of each sponge coral round. All the elements that make up the earrings were string on copper wire, carefully wire wrapped and then connected to sterling silver French hook earwires. A copper bicone bead was added to each earwire for a professional finish.
