"Desert Dreams" - Picture Jasper Handmade Earrings, Black Onyx Copper Desert Artisan Jewelry

The picture jasper slabs used in the DESERT DREAMS handmade earrings are absolutely stunning. The beige background of the gemstones actually looks like an exquisite desert scene has been painted on them with black paint and a tiny brush. I am mesmerized by what I see each time I look at the pieces! Both sides of each piece has a "scene" - each is somewhat the same but also different (see the photos above). Because of the beauty of the picture jasper, the earrings design needed to stay simple. Black onyx rounds were chosen to highlight the jasper "scene". The jasper was capped on the top and bottom with copper discs. A 3 mm copper bead was added to the top. Everything was strung on copper wire, carefully wire wrapped and then connected to sterling silver French hook earwires with a copper bead accent.
