Fabulous encased green, pink and blue lampwork beads and apple green chrysoprase are the stars of this partially wire-wrapped, handmade LIZARD TALK necklace. Five gorgeous lampwork beads, made by the extremely talented Moon of MixedMediaJewelry, remind me of a verdant rainforest with the main green colors. But there are bits of pink, brick red and blue encased with the green, like you are seeing glimpses of birds or orchids high above you in the rainforest canopy. The beads, simply put, are spectacular! Sterling silver rope spacers and 2mm sterling beads have been wire-wrapped to each side of the lampies. To highlight the encased glass beads, luscious apple green chrysoprase nuggets have been wire-wrapped between each. Talk about an amazing color! The wire-wrapped portion of the necklace runs app. 9.5" / 24.1 cm. The balance of the necklace is apple green chrysoprase separated by 2mm sterling silver beads. A sterling silver hook clasp and a 2"/5.1 cm sterling silver extender chain with a chrysoprase dangle finishes the LIZARD TALK necklace beautifully.

Through the ages, stones have always had a "language" attached to them. Chrysoprase has been used to promote hope, joy and emotional balance by getting rid of negativity. It also is thought to enable the wearer to understand the language of lizards! That last belief is why I HAD to name the set LIZARD TALK!
