The rustic red Czech glass dragonfly beads used in the LIBELULA handmade earrings look as if they were created by a master craftsman many centuries ago. The one of a kind earrings feature a base of rich royal red etched glass coin beads with an impressed dragonfly design on each side. The beads were coated with a mossy green and beige Picasso finish for an antiqued look. Each side looks a bit different; the Picasso finish settled here and there with the red glass peeking through.
Wavy copper discs clutch the top and bottom of each dragonfly bead. To add mega sparkle, faceted “Indian red” Swarovski bicones were added on top. The dragonfly earrings exude the essence of spring, summer and fall and will be worn time and time again with your favorite outfits. Earrings for the woman who loves handmade and ignores mass produced jewelry, the unique LIBELULA earrings were carefully designed and handcrafted by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs. “Libelula” is Spanish for “dragonfly.”
