Are you feeling the siren call of spring? The handmade DELIGHTfUL DAISY earrings will help satisfy that longing each and every time you wear the floral beauties. The one of a kind earrings feature artisan copper dangles with a gloriously detailed, raised daisy flower design in the middle surrounded by petals, pink coral rondelles and turquoise colored tri-cut Czech glass beads. Individually made, the precious metal clay inverted teardrops were molded, shaped, carved and kiln fired by the artist, Kristi Bowman, from beginning to end. To bring out the patina for which copper is famous, each daisy charm was heated with a torch to a high temperature. Because of this, a darker patina formed on the background of the charms, highlighting the glowing daisy design. They have a resemblance to fine tooled leather. To provide a great amount of movement, the charms were carefully wire wrapped onto copper wire.

To add even more spring appeal, a bamboo coral rondelle sits above each copper daisy. The bamboo coral is a beautiful, feminine light peachy pink color. Copper daisy spacers cap the top and bottom of the rondelles. Sitting above each rondelle is a lovely turquoise Czech glass bead with a very light silvery Picasso finish for an aged look (doesn’t show up well in the photos). For added interest, the beads have a tri-cut facet for a bit of subdued sparkle. A copper bicone sits above the turquoise beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires with a copper bicone bead finishes the earrings perfectly.
