The ICY BLUE handmade earrings feature a smooth teardrop design complemented by the flash of crystals. The focal of the artisan earrings are the teardrop shaped Czech glass created with a base glass of shimmering blue opal. A metallic blue Picasso finish was added, giving the teardrops a rain spattered look and a vintage feel. As you can see in the photo, each teardrop is different in its splatter design. Resting on top of each teardrop is a copper rondelle set with six sparkling Czech crystals. And to add even more glitter, a faceted Swarovski crystal bicone was nestled into the top of each copper rondelle. The color of the Swarovski crystals in called “indicolite,” a rich Caribbean blue that is a perfect complement to the teardrops. All of the pieces used to create the earrings were strung on copper headpins, wire wrapped and the connected to sterling silver French hook earwires. Catherine of Shadow Dog designs carefully designed and handmade the ICY BLUE earrings for the woman who loves to wear one of a kind jewelry.
