Looking as if they are pieces plucked from a star swept sky, the COSMOS handmade earrings are utterly exquisite and will definitely satisfy a woman who loves to star gaze. What immediately draws the eyes are the artisan handmade lampwork glass beads with a base of several shades of glowing cosmic cobalt blue, with a bit of greens and aquas swirled in. The beads positively glow when backlit! Looking like stars and orbiting planets or moons, fine silver dots were scattered all over the lampwork beads, some large in size and some tiny. Stacked above the celestial inspired beauties are high quality pewter bicone beads with an ancient circle and dot design, pewter disc beads and two sizes of sterling silver beads. Named in honor of Dr. Carl Sagan, the one of a kind COSMOS earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs for the woman who adores unique jewelry . . . and who just might often have her head in the stars.
