BLUETS is a gorgeous pair of one of a kind handmade earrings created with Thai Hill Tribes fine silver flower trumpets, "dark sapphire" Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The beautiful Thai fine silver flower trumpets are individually handmade so they are not exactly the same. That's what I love about handmade! The flower trumpets are made of fine silver which is approximately 99.9% silver, a higher silver content than sterling silver (which is 92.5% pure). I love the mellow, old silver glow of Thai silver! The deep blue "dark sapphire" faceted Swarovski crystal bicones are a perfect contrast to the fine silver. The crystals dangle from hand-hammered headpins and are wire-wrapped onto sterling silver box chain which runs up through the flower tubes. The main body of the BLUETS earrings is wire-wrapped onto sterling silver earwires.
