The rustic terracotta ceramic disc beads used as the focals of the ANCIENT RUNES earrings look as if they have spent centuries lying in an archaeological site, waiting to be unearthed and worn again. The disc beads are individually artisan handmade and feature seven individual rune symbols in a raised design. The rune discs are painted in a lovely dusty lavender color with each rune left in the natural terracotta color for eye catching relief. To perfectly complement the ceramic discs, rich purple lampwork glass beads with a striated design were nested in copper beads caps and carefully wire wrapped to the discs. Just imagine wearing these unique beauties! The unique ANCIENT RUNES earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs for the woman who appreciates one of a kind, artisan jewelry.
