The lovely lampwork glass beads used in these handmade OOAK earrings, WILD ROSES OF THE SEA, are a beautiful turquoise color with colorful red "splats" and are highlighted with red garnet and sterling silver. As Moon Stumpp, the lampwork artist who made the beads, said, "They are acid etched which gives them a lovely velvet organic matte finish BUT the frit stayed shiny." So very true. The beads didn't need much enhancement to make a wonderful pair of earrings. I added red garnet nuggets, sterling silver daisy spacers and 2mm sterling silver beads to bring out the gorgeous color of the lampies. Everything was then wire-wrapped to sterling silver earwires. These earrings are a perfect match to the WILD ROSES OF THE SEA bracelet.
