I have always had a deep fascination with Africa, especially after making friends with a South African couple and listening to the stories they told about growing up there. So whenever I see an African tribal inspired piece, I want to design with it. That's what happened when I ran across the pewter pendant that is the focal for the TRIBAL BREATH handmade necklace. An ethnic beauty, the one of a kind (OOAK) necklace was created with a lead free pewter pendant, handmade cream and black batik bone beads, black onyx, sterling silver and a pewter clasp. The TRIBAL BREATH necklace was carefully designed and handcrafted by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
+ Pewter shield pendant: app. 50 mm (top to bottom, not including jump ring) x 24 mm (at widest) x 1.5 cm
+ Handmade batik bone beads: on average, app. 11 mm x 10 mm, some a bit larger, some a bit smaller
