These smile-inducing toucan earrings, called TOUCAN TALK, are hand carved and hand painted out of balsa wood deep in the Amazonian rainforest in Ecuador. Each handmade, one of a kind toucan is a little work of art - such incredible detail! Since nothing needed to be added to this pair of beauties to highlight them, I simply hung them from sterling silver earwires. Being carved from balsa wood, they are very light. Since each bird is individually hand carved and hand painted, these are definitely one of a kind.
