"Tibetan Dreams" Conch Shell Pendant Necklace with African Turquoise, Pewter and Sterling
About:
This beautiful ethnic inspired necklace has such a definite Tibetan flair that I named it TIBETAN DREAMS. The focal is a fair trade, two sided pendant handmade in the traditional manner by a Tibetan artist living in Nepal. It consists of conch shell, finely wrought Tibetan silver and genuine turquoise. African turquoise jasper discs, pewter hogan beads and sterling silver were used to create the body of the necklace. The necklace is approximately 20" / 51 cm long and was finished with a patterned pewter toggle clasp.
Tibetan pendant: app. 35 mm x 20 mm (at widest)
African turquoise discs: app. 7 mm x 4 mm, some a bit larger, some a bit smaller
Pewter hogan beads: app. 8 mm x 6 mm; lead free
Metal: pewter and sterling silver
Clasp: patterned pewter toggle clasp; lead free
Length: app. 20" / 51 cm
Pendant drop: app. 1.4" / 35 mm, including bail
