If you or someone you know love the beauty and strength of horses, the RUNNING WILD handmade earrings are perfect! Jewelry for a horse lover, the earrings feature artisan two-sided running horses / sun round charms, artisan lampwork beads and Swarovski crystals. The beautiful horses and suns charms were artisan designed and hand cast from high quality, lead free pewter right here in the United States. Southwest petroglyph inspired running horses are inscribed on one side and a sun design is on the other. As can be seen in the photos, the detailing of the running horses are superb and the design is incredibly dynamic. Because of the spots on the horses, they are patterned after appaloosas or paints. The backside of the pewter charms have a sun design, a circle with multiple rays. The charms have a lovely hammered look and shine like old, heirloom sterling silver, a perfect complement to the darker oxidized areas that bring out the detail. As can be seen in the photos, the horses and sun charms are similar but not exactly the same.

To perfectly complement the unique horses and suns charms, speckled brown lampwork glass beads and brown Swarovski crystals were used. The lampwork glass beads, which were also artisan handmade, started out as clear glass. While still in a molten state, a brown frit was added to the beads to create a multitude of spots. The translucent lampwork beads positively glow! Stacked above each lampwork bead is a sterling silver daisy spacer and Swarovski crystals. The color of the Swarovski crystals is a rich dark brown, called “dark topaz,” and highlight the darker spots of the lampwork beads. Sterling silver French hook earwires finish the earrings professionally.
