While I was creating this beautiful, chunky turquoise nuggets and sterling silver necklace, I was humming the haunting song "The Road to Ensenada" by Lyle Lovett. What a perfect name for this sumptuous, one of a kind (OOAK), gemstone creation! You will definitely channel the Desert Southwest (and get envious views) when you wear this striking beauty. The glorious turquoise gemstone nuggets in THE ROAD TO ENSENADA are on the chunky side and are graduated, ranging from approximately 36mm to 14mm, creating quite an eye-catching necklace! Even though the necklace was made with LOTS of turquoise and runs on the chunkier side, it is quite comfortable to wear. The color of the nuggets runs on the blue-ish side but with a definite green cast. THE ROAD TO ENSENADA was handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
