Rhodochrosite is such a stunning gemstone as these FOR THE PLEASURE OF PINK earrings definitely show. What beauties they are! Carefully handmade with rhodochrosite coins, seed pearls and gold filled findings, they are a pair of earrings to be treasured for many years. Rhodochrosite is known for its rich pink color with white, and sometimes grey, banding. Often these bands create an almost surrealistic "landscape" design in the stones. To complement the white ribbons in the rhodochrosite, tiny white seed pearls were used to frame the top and bottom of the gemstones. The luster on the seed pearls are radiant and add a subtle glow to the earrings! To add even more beauty, 2mm gold filled beads were added at the top and bottom of the earrings. The main body of the earrings were strung on gold filled headpins. One of a kind, the FOR THE PLEASURE OF PINK earrings were carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
