When I was young, I remember my Grandmother wearing a pair of intaglio glass clip on earrings. They fascinated me hours on end with their glittering beauty. So when I saw the pair vintage butterfly intaglio glass flat cabochons offered for sale, I had to snatch them up and design a pair of unique earrings. The MARIPOSAS AZULES (Spanish for "blue butterflies") are the one of a kind (OOAK) earrings that resulted. The earrings were carefully handmade with a pair of black intaglio glass cabochons with sparkling blue butterflies, two sizes of "sapphire" Swarovski crystals, brass and sterling silver. Long and dangly, they will dance from your ears any time you move your head. The MARIPOSAS AZULES earrings were designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
