If you love big and bold statement jewelry, the LEAPIN’ LIZARD handmade necklace is the perfect piece for you! The necklace is dominated by a sparkling dichroic glass gecko pendant that was artisan made. The rich cobalt blue color of the gecko shifts from lighter to darker as the light angle changes. The lizard design is highlighted by glittering coral, gold and blue dots against a black background. Here again, as the angle of the light changes, the sparkle of the dots is intense and dazzling, almost as if they have a hidden light source.

Adding great texture to the one of a kind necklace, two types of golden amber were used: reconstructed amber barrels (real amber that was melted down and then reshaped) and natural amber nuggets separated by sterling silver beads. Even though the necklace is somewhat chunky, it is amazingly light due to the use of the amber. Carefully designed and handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, the LEAPIN’ LIZARD necklace was created for the woman who loves unique artisan jewelry with captivating sparkle.
