LABYRINTH - Copper Labyrinth Handmade Earrings, Terracotta Lampwork Turquoise

I have always been fascinated with labyrinths, especially those created in gardens and other outside settings. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth is created with a single path (unicursal) to the center and out again. Because of my love of labyrinths, I designed a pair of handmade earrings using artisan made, copper labyrinth squares. To complement the copper, artist created terracotta colored lampwork glass beads with copper bead caps, faceted turquoise, faceted red Czech glass and handmade copper earwires were added. The one of a kind earrings have a sun drenched, Southwest color feel to them. Due to the rustic feel and the coloration, the beauties have a glorious ancient artefact look to them, like a petroglyph painted or pecked onto the red walls of a canyon cave. Jewelry for the discriminating woman, the LABYRINTH earrings were carefully designed and created by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
