This totally unique, one of a kind handmade necklace made with a polymer clay heart, turquoise rondelles, speckled "quail egg" seeds and sterling silver is a perfect antidote to the pink and red hearts of Valentine's Day! The I DON'T HAVE A WOODEN HEART necklace is truly wonderful and is a piece of heart jewelry that can be worn year round, not just for Valentines or Mothers Day. Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs carefully created this show stopper.
This necklace is named after a line in a Tom Petty song called "Wooden Heart". The song is based on an old German song. Here's the first several lines of the lyrics:
"Can't you see I love you?
Please don't break my heart in two
That's not hard to do
Because I don't have a wooden heart."
