The carved bone sun pendant on this handmade HERE COMES THE SUN necklace has such a wonderfully rustic appeal to it: a smile inducing face with carved cup and saucer designs on each ray. I love the way brown dye was used to bring out the details of the sun. The one of a kind (OOAK) necklace definitely has a Southwest feel to and was created with the hand carved bone sun pendant, reconstituted turquoise heishe, oyster shell heishe, black pen shell heishe and sterling silver. A lovely Southwestern style lizard toggle clasp graces the back of the necklace. A perfect piece of unique jewelry for anyone who loves the sun, the Southwest (or both!), the HERE COMES THE SUN necklace was carefully designed and handcrafted by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.
