Need a beautiful pair of cross earrings that are NOT "the ordinary"? These one of a kind gemstone FAITH earrings are the ones! Carefully handmade by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs, they feature wonderfully spotted Dalmatian jasper crosses, black "jet" Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. They are smallish earrings but proclaim your FAITH loud and clear! The crosses are made from richly colored Dalmatian jasper, a fun stone with a lovely cream background that is perfect to highlight the black spots from which the stone gets its name. Sometimes medium brown spots also show up in the gemstone, as in these crosses. To frame the crosses, sterling silver daisy spacers were placed at the top and bottom of the crosses. The crosses were then wire-wrapped to faceted 4mm "jet" Swarovski crystal bicones. The crystals add just a bit of sparkle to the earrings and also help to highlight the colors found in the crosses. Everything is then wire-wrapped to sterling silver earwires for a fabulous finish.
