If you are looking for a pendant that is somewhat mystical looking, the two-sided cross used in ETERNITY is definitely unique! ETERNITY is a handmade necklace created with an amazing sterling silver cross, Picasso jasper tubes, Swarovski crystals and sterling silver. The ETERNITY necklace was carefully handcrafted by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs.

The cross used in ETERNITY is one extra special cross! The person who sold it to me doesn't know much about it except that it a sterling silver replica of a cross owned by an artist who had the original hand cast. The original cross was said to have originated in Mexico. The cross is heavy for its size and is two sided. The front side (see photo #1) has a stylized figure in the center, perhaps Jesus Christ or one of the saints. The arms of the cross are filled with mystical symbols and letters. The back side of the cross is covered in letters and symbols, as well. I don't know about you, but the symbols/letters almost have a Greek feel to them. When I look at the cross, it certainly has an ancient feel to it! The sterling has been oxidized and then polished to bring out the details of the symbols.
