Black and white - such a classic combination in jewelry! And even doubly so in these handmade black onyx, white freshwater pearl and sterling silver handmade earrings! Named DARK ENERGY, they are a unique, one of a kind pair of earrings due to the unusually beautiful shape of the black onyx. The DARK ENERGY earrings were carefully created by Catherine of Shadow Dog Designs. The general cut of the gemstones is a coin shape - but with a slit cut out allowing the individual coins to interlock with each other. For each earrings I locked two coins together. Because of the glossy finish of the black onyx, I chose glowing white freshwater pearls that seem to shine on their own. Their luster is first rate and they are almost perfectly round.
